2025-2026 Registration Information

Moose Jaw is Now an Open "AA" Center for U13AA, U15AA, U16AA, and U18AA

If you reside closer to Moose Jaw than any other AA center, Moose Jaw is your designated AA Hockey center.
You do not need a release from your home center before tryouts—this process will be completed after teams are selected.

Example: A U18AA player living in Morse (closer to Swift Current than Moose Jaw) must obtain a “AA” release from Swift Current before participating in tryouts in Moose Jaw.

• U16AA: September 1-09

• U18AA: September 10-20

• U15AA: September 10-20

• U13AA: September 17-27

• U11A: Dates To Be Determined

Registration Details

💲 Family Discount   Register 3 or more siblings from the same household and receive a $400 discount.

📅 Important Dates

• June 20 to July 31  - Registration

• August 1 to September 1 Late Registration: Registration fees increase by $100/player

  • Exceptions to the late fee include players registering with Moose Jaw Minor Hockey for the first time and those in the U7 Timbits program.

• September 15: Final day to register online

• October 1: All registration fees must be paid in full

📬 After You Register

• Tier Director will email all tier tryout participants with details.

• Division Directors will email participants by mid-September with evaluation dates.

• Moose Jaw League evaluations will begin on or after September 26.

• U7 Timbit participants will be emailed after October 1 (tentative start date of October 18th)

Refund Policy

All refund requests must be made in writing to the MJMHA office.

• Before the first scheduled ice time: 100% refund

• Before Nov 15 (after team placement): 75% refund

• Before Dec 15: 50% refund

• Before Jan 10: 25% refund

• After Jan 10: No refund

Medical exceptions will be reviewed individually by the Board (doctor’s letter requiredhttp://www.moosejawminorhockey.com/content/Parent-Respect-in-Sport).
🚫 No refunds for Tier tryout fees or camps.
👶 First-year skaters may receive a full refund (minus $50 admin fee) up to November 15.

🏒 Respect in Sport (RIS) - Parent Program

Mandatory for one parent/guardian per player.

• If you've already taken it, you do not need to take it again.

• Focuses on player well-being, respect, and building a positive hockey environment.

 🔁 Transferring from Another Hockey Association?

• Complete the Proof of Residency Form

• Submit to: admin@mjhockey.com

• We’ll begin your player’s transfer once the form is received.
