**UPDATE ** U11 A Tier tryouts will be on September 26-27
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2020-2021 hockey season and provide you a quick update on the evaluations for the upcoming season. The dates for the U15 and U18 evaluation weekend are September 12 and 13 and for the U13 evaluation weekend is September 19 and 20. Evaluations will start at 9:00 am each day at the Barkman Arena in Caronport and we ask that you arrive early enough to register.
There are a couple things to cover with the COVID restrictions in place at this time. The Barkman arena does not allow spectators in the rink and the dressing rooms are closed. We ask that your player comes dressed and ready for their ice time or come ahead and dress in the parking lot. I would advise you to bring a lawn chair if that is the case, makes it much easier. Players will go in through the front doors and come out the doors on the East side of the arena.
Also, ensure your player has skate guards with them as you will have to walk in on the dirt and a concrete surface. Please ensure you bring your own water bottle and that it is clearly marked as there is no sharing of water bottles. We ask that when you come please respect the social distancing guidelines and space out accordingly. Once you arrive and register you will be given a jersey and your player assigned a number. The jerseys will be kept until the end of the last evaluation session.
If your player is feeling ill at any point in time before you come to the evaluation camp please let me know right away and we would ask that you follow the public health guidelines on assessment and re-evaluate your attendance. We are being very careful not to go outside of the current public health guidelines. We do expect public health officers to observe our camp and inspect our processes so please keep that in mind.
Due to the fact that the restrictions can change at any moment the player list for the weekends will be emailed out to you on Friday September 11th (U15 and U18) and 18th (U13) at 5:00 pm. This will include all the updated restrictions and full schedule for the weekend.
