Regular Season/Playoff Games – Direct Deposit
Beginning this season, officials will be paid by direct deposit on a bi-weekly basis.
Officials will be paid for games worked during the previous two-week pay period.
Payments will be deposited directly into the bank account provided by the official.
Regular-season payments will begin October 24, 2026.

Evaluation and Tryout Games
Payment for evaluation and tryout games will be processed by e-transfer on September 16 and September 30.
Exhibition Games
Payment for exhibition games will be made in cash at the rink immediately following the game by the Home Team.
Tournament Games
Officials working tournaments will be paid in cash after completing their final tournament shift.
Cash payments can be picked up at the Tournament Office at Bert Hunt Arena, unless officials are advised of a different payment location or procedure.
Provincial Games
Payment for exhibition games will be made in cash at the rink immediately following the game by the Home Team

Please ensure that your banking information is accurate and up to date so that your regular-season and playoff payments can be processed without delay.
To get started, officials need to complete online registration and pay the associated fees. Once registered, officials must complete the Hockey Canada online modules and attend either a virtual or in-person classroom session, followed by an on-ice session. Both links below will connect to all requirements.
Moose Jaw Minor Hockey is excited to introduce pre-season ice times for our officials. These ice times will be used for but not limited to:
1. Refined positioning
2. Referee specific powerskating
3. On opportunity to get the rust off and ask any questions for the instructors
Ice times will be fully instructed slots. 45 mins for beginner and level 1 officials and 45 mins for officials level 2 and higher. These ice times will count towards on ice clinic requirements for level 2 officials and higher.
