We are excited to welcome Natalie Keeping as our guest instructor for this year’s Christmas Camp. Natalie is looking forward to meeting our players and seeing the talent we have here in Moose Jaw.

About Natalie:
Natalie Keeping grew up in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, where she played competitive, full-contact boys hockey (AAA, high school, and more), often as the only girl on the ice. She went on to compete at U18 Nationals and U18 Canada Games—earning a spot as an underager at just 13 years old.  Alongside hockey, Natalie was also a competitive figure skater. Her parents recognized early on that elite skating ability would be the key to her success—and safety—in boys' hockey. That foundation in skating continues to shape her coaching style today.

Natalie is now a professional skills coach specializing in:

·Speed

·Stride

·Edges

·Power generation

She has coached in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Maine Nordiques for two seasons (2023–24 and 2024–25) and is currently working in the QMJHL with the Regiment in Newfoundland (2025–26 season). She also bench coaches a St. John’s U13 AAA boys team, currently sitting first in their AAA league.
In addition, Natalie runs her own skills programs, Keeping the Edge by Natalie Keeping, and offers virtual dryland sessions focused on speed, stride, and skating performance, designed to reinforce all the fundamentals she builds on the ice.

Natalie is excited to work with Moose Jaw players and help elevate their skating and skills over the holiday break.
