Hockey Fee Structure
MJMHA Fee Structure
We take many factors into consideration when setting our fees for the hockey season. The following is primary (many of which differ from division to division) when setting the annual fees for each division:
- # of kids registered in respective divisions
- # of kids on each team
- # of weeks in a season
- # of whole ice equivalent practices per week (full ice vs. half ice)
- # of games (both league games and playoff games)
- average length of games
- costs of referees per game
- costs to register teams with external leagues
- costs to register team officials and players with SHA
- team share of MJMHA overhead operating costs
- team share of MJMHA potential contingency costs
2017-18 fees were set as follows

ADDITIONAL FEES FOR TIER/FEMALE ONLY
Tier Teams; Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget Warriors and Peewee, Bantam and Midget Mavericks pay additional fees over and above the base fees listed. These fees cover the cost of an additional practice per week, as well as costs associated with playing in leagues outside MJMHA. These fees range from an additional $300 per player to $578 per player.
